It takes around 20 minutes to reach Bus SITA as bus shuttle operates frequently between the airport and also the railway station and the city. One can easily reach the airport from other cities from A11 and A1 from places like Prato, Pistoia, Montecatini, Lucca, Arezzo, Pisa, Carrara, Massa and more. The shuttles in the city are scheduled for every 30 minutes from 5.00 am to 8.00 pm and then after every 1 hour.

Flights from other Italian cities are also scheduled from Milan Malpensa, Bologna, Turin, Palermo, Cagliari, Catania, Verona, Olbia, Rome Fiumicino. This makes it a good city for tourist to reach Lucca through the Florence Airport. Besides, reaching Lucca from here is very easy as it is very close to the main city as well. The airport is built with many facilities and has a single runway with taxiway at the end of runway 05. There is ample parking space and also a taxi station for the convenience of the travelers.

The train takes 1 hour 45 minutes to reach Lucca, and the cost is 5 Euros. One can choose whichever option is suitable.
